How we authenticate and grade every piece.
Every watch we offer is examined before it is listed. Here is what we look at, and what our condition grades mean.
What we inspect
- 01
Serial and reference numbers, engravings and their consistency with the model and year.
- 02
Movement: caliber, finishing, timekeeping and amplitude.
- 03
Dial, hands, markers and printing under magnification.
- 04
Case, bezel, crystal and crown for originality and condition.
- 05
Bracelet, end links and clasp codes.
- 06
Box, papers and accessories, when present.
Condition grades
- Unworn
- Never worn. Protective stickers or factory condition.
- Excellent
- Minimal signs of wear visible only on close inspection.
- Very Good
- Light wear consistent with careful use. No damage.
- Good
- Visible wear from regular use. Fully functional.
- Vintage
- Older piece with age-appropriate patina and wear.
